Pilgrimage to the Heart, Connecting with our Gaelic Christian Roots

This year we're returning to Inis Mór, but so as to make the most of the day are offering two evenings beforehand on pilgrimage, described as ‘our path through life guided by the compass of our heart'.

Inspired by, and drawing on the experience of St Ignatius, who saw himself as a pilgrim, the first evening will invite us to consider our own pilgrim journey.

In the second evening, we’ll be joined by our friend, Pádraigín Clancy, a specialist in Gaelic Christian spirituality, who using examples from the West of Ireland, and in particular Inis Mór where she has made her home, will make the heart connections with our Christian roots and Irish identity, and prepare the way for those who wish to meet her on Inis Mór on Friday 9th June, feast of St Colm Cille.

Dates: Thursday 25th & Tuesday 30th May 2017. Optional pilgrimage to Inis Mór on Friday 9th June.

Time: 8.00-9.30pm for the 2 evening meetings*

Cost: €30 for both evenings

*Please note: the two evenings make up a whole with a day on Inis Mór for those who wish. All details of the day on Inis Mór will be ready nearer the day.
